A graduate of Benjamin Franklin, a nationally ranked high school, Michael went on to obtain his Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in History from the University of New Orleans. Michael worked in security at a Wyndham Resorts both uptown and Downtown, while pursuing his undergrad degree. At twenty years old, Michael was promoted to Director of Security at the Wyndham French Quarter Hotel. While balancing school and work life, Michael also co-founded multiple real estate investment companies helping rehab several houses in the New Orleans area both directly and indirectly. After spending two years in this position, Michael moved out of the French Quarter and into the neighboring CBD where he filled the same position at the Pan American Life Center – one of New Orleans’ most prestigious office buildings.
In August of 2015, Michael left his security role behind to pursue his Juris Doctor at Tulane University School of Law. Michael first encountered the world of short term rentals during law school and quickly became successful in running his own. Soon he employed his hospitality background and business management experience to implement his winning strategies for other short term rental owners throughout New Orleans. After helping several homeowners run highly successful short term rentals out of their New Orleans’ homes, Michael realized his passion for aiding in the renaissance of New Orleans could be found outside of the law. After graduating Tulane Law School with a focus in Constitutional Law in May 2018, Michael founded NOLA Short Term Rental Solutions with the intention of helping New Orleans residents find economic prosperity through the ever growing tourism economy the city boasts. Not only is Michael New Orleans born and raised, he is New Orleans educated and dedicated.
